Problems was started in 2013 in an upstairs room of a convicted felon's art gallery in Philadelphia. The room was hot and on the 3rd floor. It was full of garbage because all the members were too lazy to ever bring down their empty beer cans to the garage where the dumpster was. After about 5 months one of the two guitarists quit the band after a lime-a-rita fueled dispute about whether or not "killing them softly" was a good movie. This left the band with just one guitarist/drummer and dan on vocals. The search for a bassist began. We tried having one of our good friends play but he had to borrow a bass that night and it only had 1 string. The practice consisted of mostly marijuana and no music. Later on after securing a bassist off of the wonderful craigslist.com the band pushed forward. Gear issues began crippling the band and one specific time our bassists cab actually burst into flames. This was probably the 3rd amp malfunction he had in 3 weeks. Still the band pushed on, playing a minimal amount of shows and recording material that always never ended up sounding good. Probably around late 2014 our drummer quit the band and moved down south. We looked to our dear friend craigslist again and secured another drummer. We recorded 2 new songs that of course never ended up getting finished and no one ever heard them. New years eve 2015 would mark our last show opening up for Nothing at Boot and saddle. The following week our bassist quit the band. Meanwhile the space we then practiced in (a different studio space in south philly where we had been about a year) was getting sold. Thus we would have no where to practice. Knowing the end was near, we decided to try our best to do one last recording session. We recorded 5 songs in 2 days, bass was over dubbed by the guitarist. Finished the songs and sat on the un mastered recordings for about 4 months. The band disolved and the practice space was lost. Luckily a good friend offered to take a shot at mastering them and now they actually sound pretty good. Anyway, here are 5 songs by a band youve never heard of, and who had no business being a band for 3 years. Im pretty proud of these songs and kind of glad this burden of is over. What a nightmare.
